Just a little poem...
I believe there are few lessons greater than these. Selah. Believe in the Lord our God with all your might, remember your purpose in the long dark night. Speak of gratitude when you want all the things, carry out your work with a heart that sings. Search for joy in the midst of plight, and just use love to combat spite. Focus on these things, believe what’s true ... wherever you go, God will always love you.
Weary Mama
When everything in me screams “go to bed” yet still I work away -- just too many things to do at night, that can’t be done by day. For daytime brings the best of things, homeschool, the snacks, the fun -- yet once the sweet ones tuck abed, the work has just begun. Contentment
Thanksgiving will always be a bit bittersweet. I wrote this poem 4 years ago, about the contentment I felt in my life. One year later, many aspects of that life were falling down around my ears. Cut Free
My life could be called a shambles? Generations of pain through and through My path concealed by brambles I turn my eyes to You You clear one step before me Cut through thorns and weeds I am not unwounded But along with me you bleed You send the rain to help me cry As if to say "I'm here" My heart is touched, with wings I fly My path becoming clear.
