Don't look at the truck!

Lessons Learned from Parenthood

Don't look at the truck!

As I contemplate trying to teach my 4 year old how to ride a bike this summer (no small feat considering I am not particularly inspired to ride one myself), I started thinking back to bike lessons from my Dad about 30 years ago. Unopened Snacks

Lessons Learned from Parenthood

I find I learn alot about humanity and God by being a Mom. Aha moment #4782 (roughly): My 19 month old daughter Isla busted into the pantry and managed to nab one of her favourite snacks. Happily Ever After

Praises & Life

Happily Ever After

A letter I wrote to my wonderful daughters (and to anyone else who stops to read): I wish for you each to see in life your "happily ever after". Yes, I believe in Happily Ever After. Not the fairytale kind, where a prince sweeps you off your feet, and you head off into the sunset with nary a concern ever again. But an even better kind... Happily Ever After where at the end of the day your feet hurt and your eyes are blurry and you are SO THANKFUL for everything you did that day. Where you hear the people...
